andes mountain

Andes Mountains is the world's longest mountain range that forms the highlands along the western coast of South America. These mountains more than 7,000 km in length, its width reaches 500 km in some places and has an average altitude of about 4,000 m. This mountainous stretches through seven countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, which is sometimes called the "Andean Countries"
Andes Mountain Range consists mainly of two large mountains of the Cordillera Oriental and Cordillera Occidental, often separated by a deep depression between, which then came a series of minor mountains, such as the Cordillera de la Costa, Chile. Cordillera de la Costa starts from the southern tip of the continent and continues to the north, parallel to the beach, split into several islands in the beginning and subsequently forming the western boundary of the central valley of Chile. To the north, this coastal circuit continues as a series of hills or isolated hills along the Pacific Ocean to reach Venezuela, by always form a valley in the western part of the circuit.

The highest mountain in the Andes is Aconcagua towering 6962 m above sea level. Summit of Chimborazo in Ecuador is the furthest point on the earth's surface from the center of the earth due to equatorial bubbles. Andes Himalaya can not be matched in terms of height, but surpass them in terms of width and twice longer than him.
